The car maker Suzuki has launched its popular car Suzuki Swift Hybrid in a hybrid avatar. The company has recently introduced this car in Japan. The new 2017 Swift Hybrid car will be available in two variants (SG and SL).
In weight this car is light with the current swift. The weight of the new hybrid swift is less than 1000 kilograms. As well as being light weight, this car will get good mileage. The company claims that this car can travel up to 32 km in one liter of fuel.
Suzuki Swift Hybrid Features :
The most important thing in this car is that when the car is operating in traffic or running slowly, the hybrid system of this car automatically closes the combustion engine and the EV starts driving. To keep an eye on the people walking on the street, it has a camera and laser sensor.
It weighs less than 1000 kg and claims that it will get mileage of 32 kilometers per liter.
Swift Hybrid comes with SL Paddle Shift. For security, it has dual sensor brake support (DSBS) system. Along with the camera and laser sensors, those who keep on the road keep an eye on the people walking on the road. There are also front and side airbags in the carriage.
Toyota is preparing to come up with its luxury hybrid sedan Camry and Prius, while Tata is also working on its e-Nano. In such a way, bringing Swift Hybrid can be a benefit deal for Maruti.
Suzuki Swift Hybrid Specs :
Speaking of engine and power specification, the new Swift Hybrid car has a 1.2-liter petrol engine. With this it has been given 10 kilowatt motor generator unit (MGU) and 5-speed auto gear shift (AGS) gearbox. This engine generates maximum power of 91 hp. There is no information available about how long this car will be launched in India.
However, the new Maruti Suzuki Swift can be offered at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. New Maruti Suzuki Swift has been prepared on the HEARTECT platform. Vitara Breeze, Desire, Ignis and Baleno have also been prepared on this platform. With this car the option of 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter DDiS engine will be given. These two engines will be equipped with 5-speed manual transmission and AMT gearbox. The estimated cost of the car is being reported from Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh.
