The government has formed a 19-member committee to conduct scientifically valid research on the matter related to cow and its benefits including cow urine.
According to the news, an inter-departmental circular and members of the committee gave this information. According to the circular, the committee headed by Harsh Vardhan, Science and Technology Minister, will choose such projects which will help to explain the benefits of Panchgavya i.e. cow dung, urine, milk, curd and ghee in different areas like nutrition, health and agriculture. will do.
This committee, named the National Steering Committee, includes the Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Biotechnology, the Department of Science and Technology, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.It includes three members of the RSS and VHP affiliated organizations Vishan Bharati and “Gao Science Research Center”.
The government circular said that former CSIR director RA Mashelkar, who is also a member of the committee, to run campaign against US patent on turmeric and basmati rice is also a member of this committee.The committee also includes Prof. V Ramgopal Rao, IIT Delhi’s director and Prof. VK Vijay, IIT’s Center for Rural Development and Technology.
It was said in the circular that the term of this committee will be three years. Vijaya Bhatkar, president of the RSS affiliated organization, Bharate, is the co-chairman of the committee.
Bhatkar, considered to be the architect of the Supreme Series of Supercomputer, is also the Chancellor of Nalanda University in Rajgir of Bihar.Bhatkar confirmed the formation of the committee to a news agency and said that he has been given the task of selecting scientific projects of scientifically valid research on indigenous cow and panchagavya.
Two other members associated with the RSS include Jayakumar, general secretary of Bharti Bhavan and Sunil Mansingh of Gao Science Research Center, Nagpur.This incident happened at a time when cow crime and other suspects in the cow trafficking have become an emotional issue among the country’s growing incidents of victimization by the alleged witnesses.
