Suzuki unveiled the new S-Cross SUV at the Paris Motor Show last year. A few weeks after that this SUV had demolished all records in Hungary. Now Maruti is trying to introduce its new S-Cross Facelift in India because it seems to be changing the place of sale of the current version of the SUV.
Talking to Autocar India during the launch of the new designer, Maruti Suzuki India executive director Raman has confirmed that the newly refreshed S-Cross Facelift can be launched in India around Diwali.
Speaking inside the car, the new S-Cross Facelift will be equipped with a new touchscreen input system that will be equipped with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. There will be a new trim option for upholstery with an updated tool cluster, dashboard and contrast sewing with a new MID unit.
Large and SUV type grill and bumper crossover style will be installed in the front end back in front of the car. S-Cross Facelift will have a 1.3 liter engine with 200Nm torque with a 89bhp power and a 1.6 liter engine with 320Nm torque with 118bhp power. The company can also offer AMT options with both of these engines.
Talking about the mechanical department, the new S-Cross Facelift is expected to remain unchanged. S-Cross Maruti will be sold through the premium NeXa dealership across the country.
