Admission cards of Common Admission Test 2017 CAT 2017 have been issued for admission to Indian Institute of Management (IIM). Candidates participating in this examination can download their Admit Card by visiting the official website. Please tell us that the process of downloading Admit Card has begun from today. The Institute had already told that the Admit Card will be issued from October 25.
Earlier, IIM had announced the date of 17-18 October for distributing the admission, but it has been extended for a week. The result of the CAT on November 26 will be released in the second week of January. This entrance examination is conducted for candidates who are admitted in IIMs, ISMs, ISBs and other management institutes of the country’s famous institutions.
Candidates can download the Admit Card of the examination before 26th of November. Please tell that the examination is to be held on November 26, 2017, unless the candidate can download the Admit Card.

– Then click the link associated with the examination.
– Fill in the information requested by clicking on the link of Admit Card and check your Admit Card.
– Please note that before going to the examination center, there is an admission card and do not forget to take a photo ID card.
How does selection for IIMs through CAT 2017 ?
Students will be selected for the Common Admission Test (CAT) based on the Ratan Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and then on the basis of Personal Interview. Students will get admission in one of about 20 IIMs on the basis of merit prepared after the examination.
What is Cat and why is it organized?
CAT is a computer based test and on this basis admission is given to 20 IIMs and 100 other Management Institutes of the country. Usually this test is held in November every year. There are 3 major sections in the CAT: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (34 questions), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (32 Questions) and Competitive Ability (34 questions).
Cat 2017 Syllabus :
Common Admission Test has 3 sections in the exam. In it there are 34 questions in the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, 32 questions in Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and 34 questions in Quantitative Ability. In addition to the questions of multiple choice in each section, some more questions will be asked and 180 minutes will be given for this.
