Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Bharat ke Veer facility of online financial help to the families of the martyrs who were killed during the duty of the Central Armed Police Force on Sunday. Families of martyred soldiers can be donated online through web portal and mobile app. For this, Singh and film actor Akshay Kumar launched a web portal ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ and mobile app in a program organized here.
In a speech organized by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Singh expressed concern over the situation in Kashmir saying that some strayed people do stone pelting on army personnel. But the country salutes those soldiers who save the victims from flood like trouble. On this occasion, Akshay Kumar said that after the martyrdom of the paramilitary forces, donations can be donated online to help their family financially.
On this occasion Akshay Kumar tweeted the people to help the family members of brave soldiers and wrote, “It is difficult to stop my tears today.”
On the suggestion of Akshay Kumar, the Home Ministry has prepared this website and the app. Akshay had suggested to the government that the online details of the armed forces personnel who were killed during the deployment of the border or internal security should be public, with the help of which any person can provide help to the martyr’s family .
This application and website, prepared with the help of Jaisalmer BSF DIG Amit Lodha, will have information about the entire family and bank accounts of the martyrs, through which any person in the country will be able to directly provide financial help to a martyr’s family.
The maximum limit for depositing the assistance amount in the bank account of any family has been fixed at Rs 15 lakhs. When this limit is reached, the information of the relatives of the martyrs will be automatically withdrawn from the website. Akshay Kumar has been very active in the help of jawans. Last week, he had given a helping hand to 12 CRPF jawans who were killed in Sukma Naxalite attack.
